  • All Good | Interex Industries

Organic Sun Protection - made in California Nature brings a lot to the table. From botanical medicines to feel-good vibes, All Good was founded by meeting nature at the table and not adding much else. We’re on a mission to prove that humans and nature can live in harmony. Certified B-Corporation B-Corp, as in the “Batman of Business World.” Being a certified B Corporation gives us official street-cred because these sustainability vigilantes certify that we balance purpose and profit while considering the impact of our decisions on our employees, customers, suppliers, community, and environment. All Good is a proud triple bottom line business – meaning social and environmental responsibility is equally as important as profits. Send up the bat signal. 1% for the Planet There are 8 billion people on the planet and – yes, we’re getting preachy here – we all gotta do our part to be better to each other and our home. Through our 1%FTP partnership, we give one percent of our annual sales to important global causes. We’re proud to support POW , Outside Now , Conservation Alliance , Sustainable Coastlines , Kokua Foundation , Kohala Foundation , Na Kama Kai , United Plant Savers , Pacific Whale Foundation , and Ecologistics . Certified Organic Ingredients “Organic” isn’t just for hippies and baby food anymore – it’s for all living things. We source organically grown herbs, oils, and raw ingredients to ensure our products are free from nasty stuff (harmful pesticides, herbicides, chemical fertilizers) and promote good stuff (diverse ecosystems, healthy soil, clean groundwater). It’s organic, man. Non-GMO Materials Yep… they’re real. We like our materials the way nature intended, so we pass on genetically modified organisms. We don’t have a ton of rules, but we do our best, always, to source materials that do not contain GMOs. Wild Land Farming WWRCD? That’s “What WouId Rachel Carson Do?” If we can’t source it, we grow it. We grow our own calendula, lavender, and yarrow using wild land farming techniques to promote biodiversity, build natural habitats, build healthy soil, and attract the birds and the bees (heyo). Powered by the Sun Photosynthesis – even buildings are doing it! Our production facility in Morro Bay, CA is powered by photovoltaic panels on the roof, and plenty of outdoor board meetings. Girl Power For anyone sitting in the back: More women in leadership! We’re proud to be a Woman-owned and founded company (shoutout to Caroline!) and run a business full of badass lady power. Our production facility is run and staffed by women, we have women farmers, women in finance, women in sales… are you seeing a pattern? Hats off to you, ladies (and, obviously, to the men who love them too). Cruelty-Free Testing We test on actual humans! We’re all about cruelty-free cosmetics and partner with membership affiliates like PETA and Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics (Leaping Bunny) to encourage consumers and companies to say no to animal testing. It’s the 21st century, people – let’s just test on humans or robots. Paging the Terminator. Reef Friendly Products & Initiatives Things we like: Finding Nemo. Things we don’t like: Dead Nemo. We’re committed to protecting the coral reefs of the world by making ONLY reef safe sunscreen. Quick science lesson: pollution caused by chemicals found in common sunscreens (notably octinoxate and oxybenzone) contribute to clog up the pores of coral reefs (yes, they have pores too) which is no bueno for these creatures. (Here’s more science if you want to geek out). We stay faaaaar away from these ingredients, instead making 100% of our All Good mineral sunscreen products with topical ingredients that sit on top of your skin to physically block the sun’s rays. These non-nanoparticles won’t absorb into your bloodstream or into coral reef systems, either. If it’s good enough for Nemo, it’s good enough for you.

So the tradition of using the kettle as a method of boiling water at lunchtime, goes back to the 1890's in the West Coast of Ireland and the design has changed little since it was first introduced. Lough Conn was, and still is, famous for its free rising brown trout and fresh run Salmon from the River Moy system. During the fishing season, local angling guides keep watch for the small pillar of smoke on the lake shore which indicated that a fellow ghillie already had a 'brew' on! A hot cup of tea or soup awaits anyone who lands and the Kettle is boiled repeatedly as additional boats laden with anglers arrive. Tradition dictates that both the angling guide and his guests (usually 2 anglers to his boat) together gather dry tinder for the kettle from the lake shore. It's a ritual really! Then, the guide will quickly boil up the kettle providing fresh tea / coffee for the anglers. In return for his hospitality, the boatman/guide received lunch and perhaps a drop of whiskey from the anglers! ;-) To this day, the Kelly family still provide a Boat Hire & Ghillie service on Lough Conn, Co. Mayo. Visiting anglers are as intrigued today as they were some 125yrs ago with the speed at which the water can be boiled. Through word of mouth, these anglers have spread word about the kettles worldwide. Nowadays, the Kelly Kettle is a centerpiece in most campsites and a guaranteed conversation starter. If you have seen one in action, you will understand why! Increasingly gaining in popularity, our Kettles can be found all over the world from the USA, Canada , UK, Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Germany, Russia and as far away as Japan , South Africa, South Korea & Australia . Now considered an essential piece of camping equipment, Kelly Kettles are been used by all types of outdoor enthusiasts such as explorers, Kayakers, hill walkers, Car Campers, Scouts, Hunters, Gardeners, fun family picnics, at music festivals, or as a vital item in emergency preparedness & wilderness survival kits.
